Barbara Henry was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She began her legal career working in a law firm in downtown Nashville as a paralegal. While working as a paralegal, she attended college at Tennessee State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Elementary (K-6) Education. Upon graduating from college, she was encouraged to enroll in the Nashville School of Law to fulfill her life-long dream of being an attorney.
Upon receiving her Doctorate of Jurisprudence, she began practicing law with a focus on family, juvenile, and probate law. She believes that family and probate law are the two most sensitive areas of law that an attorney can practice. People are normally seeking assistance during the most difficult times of their lives. She has always been a supportive and fierce advocate for her clients’ needs. She is also listed as a Rule 31 Civil Mediator (domestic violence certified). Barbara currently resides in Old Hickory with her family. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her children play baseball and vacationing at the beach. |
