Steven Wilmoth was born and raised in Cookeville, TN. He attended college at Tennessee Technological University where he received a full academic scholarship. While in college he held various leadership positions within his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, and he was a charter member and first secretary of Pi Sigma Alpha, a political science honor society. Steven graduated from Tennessee Tech with both a B.S. degree in Political Science as well as a Master of Business Administration degree. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis.

Upon graduation, Steven accepted a job at a high volume consumer bankruptcy firm in Nashville where he helped hundreds of people both find relief from oppressive debt and protect their assets. Since coming to The Fleming-Wilmoth Law Firm, Steven has served as vice president of the Middle Tennessee Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
